chocolat cookie spread

Makes: Roughly two cups of spread.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup melted chocolate
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

Directions

  • Note: This recipe works with almost any cookie so long as it is not too soft, also it does not work with any cookies that have a filling. Almost any cookie recipe on this site will work, along with any bought cookie.
  • Melt your chocolate in a microwave safe bowl by microwaving for 30 seconds and stirring. after stirring it should all be melted but if not microwave it in 10 second bursts until fully melted.
  • Break up your cookies into quarters, add these and all other ingredients into a blender or food processor. Pulse several times to get the cookies to a smaller size before turning the blender or food processor onto high and continue mixing until you have a smooth spread. I usually do about 1 minute.
  • Transfer to a jar or bowl with a lid and refrigerate.
